בזכרי על משכבי
In my memories upon my bed
זדון ליבי ואשמיו
The stubbornness of my heart and its guilt
אקומה ואבואה
I will arise and go
אל בית אלוהי והדומיו
To the house of my God and His likeness
ואומר בנשאי עין
And I will say as I lift my eyes
בתחנוני אלי שמיו
In my supplication towards the heavens

ניפלה נא ביד אדוני
Let it fall now into the hand of my Lord
כי רבים רחמיו
For great are His mercies

לך אלי צור חילי
To You, my God, the rock of my strength
מנוסתי בצרתי
My refuge in my distress
בך שברי ותקוותי
In You are my shards and my hope
אילותי בגלותי
My strength in my exile
לך כל משאלות ליבי
To You are all the desires of my heart
ונגדך כל תאוותי
And before You all my longings
פדה עבד לך צועק
Redeem Your servant who cries out to You
מיד רודיו וקמיו
From the hand of his pursuers and those who rise against him

ניפלה נא ביד אדוני
Let it fall now into the hand of my Lord
כי רבים רחמיו
For great are His mercies

ענני אדוני ענני
Answer me, my Lord, answer me
בקראי מן המצר
When I call from the straits
ויוודע בעמים
And let it be known among the peoples
כי ידך לא תקצר
That Your hand is not shortened
ואל תבזה ענות עני
And do not despise the humility of the poor
צועק מתגרת צר
Who cries out from the oppression of the enemy
אשר פשעיו לך מודה
Who confesses his transgressions to You
ומתוודה על עלומיו
And confesses about his hidden [sins]

כי רבים רחמיו
For great are His mercies

מה יתאונן ויאמר
What will he lament and say
מה ידבר ויצטדק
What will he speak and justify
יציר חומר אשר תשוב
O creation of clay, that will return
גוויתו כאבק דק
His body to fine dust
מה יתן לך האדם
What will man give to You
כי ירשע וכי יצדק
Whether he is wicked or righteous
הלא מיליו ומיפעליו
Are not his words and his deeds
כתובים בספר ימיו
Written in the book of his days
